Ingredients
500 g chicken fillets cut into cubes
3 tbsp Gorima’s butter chicken spice 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
1 medium onion chopped finely
2 medium tomatoes grated
73 ml water
1⁄4 cup butter or ghee
125 ml coconut cream/milk
250 ml fresh cream
Fresh coriander
Salt to taste

Method
Marinate chicken with ginger & garlic and butter chicken spice. Leave to marinate for a minimum of 1 hour. Fry onions in butter/ghee until translucent. Add marinated chicken to onion and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, add 4 to 5 tbsp water to the pot if chicken is getting scorched. Add grated tomatoes and cook for a further 5 minutes. Once tomatoes have been blended in add salt, coconut cream and fresh cream, cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with roti or naan bread.
