Ingredients
50 ml oil
1 onion finely chopped
2 medium sized tomatoes grated 1 tbsp tomato paste/puree
3 tbsp Rogan-Josh (curry paste) 500 g mutton/lamb pieces
2 tbsp ginger & garlic
1⁄2 cup water
Salt to taste
3 tbsp yoghurt
1⁄4 tsp garam masala
1 green pepper cut in chunks
4 to 5 slivers of fresh ginger

Method
Marinate meat with ginger garlic paste, Rogan Josh & yoghurt (set aside for approximately 3 to 4 hours). Heat oil in pan, add onions. Fry onion until translucent, then add marinated meat. Cook meat for approx. 7 to 8 minutes, then
add half cup of water and cook for a further
30 minutes. Add grated tomatoes, cook until tomatoes are completely blended in. Once meat is tender add fresh green peppers and garam masala. Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, add salt. Garnish with slivered ginger.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with roti or naan bread.
